Our portfolio of hunting properties, which we personally and legally own covers both the famous Niassa province as well as the old hunting ground of Karamojo Bell in the Tete province.

Niassaland Private Hunting Reserve – Tete
Our flagship property in the heart of big game country in the north western part of the country. Lying in the foothills of the Luangwa and Zambezi valleys, this area consists of Miombo forests interspersed with Mopani woodland and open grasslands which support a healthy family of big game species. These include the big boys – Lion, Elephant, Leopard and Buffalo as well as Roan, Sable, Kudu, Eland, Lichtensteins Hartebeest, common Waterbuck, chobe Bushbuck, Impala, Reedbuck, common and red duiker, Bushpig, Warthog, Hippo, Crocodile and Hyena.
The core of this property, 65,000 acres, is operated and has been protected over the years by Niassland Safaris with the outlying areas being community land – there are no fences and you experience the classic Africa of old.
Chiridzi Rough Hunts – Tete
This expanse of property, stretching over 1 million acres allows the constant ability to explore new areas with the goal to open up and explore the entire area as big elephant, Lion and other species do exist in good numbers. This concession will primarily be aimed at our RoughHunts offering an experience which is entirely authentic and epitomizes the essence of what a self guided hunt would be like if allowed in this country. Our Hippo and Crocodile Safaris on the Zambezi allow a true hunting experience with a rough style camp on the banks of this mighty river. The hunt is 5 days in duration and the price is all inclusive of one Hippo and one Crocodile. The hunt is for these species only with some of the best Tiger Fishing available as an option while searching for Hippo and Croc. Hunts start and end in Tete and one needs to allow 7 full days in Mozambique as we drive in and out of the hunting concession.
Clients are able to add on plainsgame species at our Pembe property OR add this Hippo and Croc hunt onto their Pembe hunt – at discounted rates.
